After almost 3 months.... Yes. I'm alive. I don't know if it's wedding jitters or what, but good Lord I've been under a tremendous amount of stress. Hai and Aron both have seen where the wedding is going to take place, but let me be the first or second or third to tell you, that wedding planning is not easy. Or, at least it's more difficult then I originally thought.
So, we have the wedding site, the caterer, the rings, the music, the honeymoon, the invites, pretty much everything taken care of. It's the smaller things that I'm having a hard time with.
The father of the bride made it a little bit more stressful when he gave us grief about having to come down for the wedding.... I mean, c'mon now. His excuse was that he had to take off time from work and that was too much for him to deal with. Joking or not, it's not the stress Kris and I need at the moment. It's not like this guy is short on cash or anything, was he just being cheap? Or does he not want to walk his own daughter down the isle? All I have to say is war almost started over his cheap ass.
Luckily though, he straightened up and told us the family is coming.
Okay, this may not be the most traditional wedding anyone has ever been too, granted, but c'mon, I've seen worse. I've seen the redneck, hoedown wedding in a park (and let me tell you, the wedding in the park was fine, it was the fact that both the groom and the bride were smashed when they finally made it up to the minister). Also, we have the bridesmaids, the groomsmen, the ordained minister, the tuxes, the invites, the catered dinner, the music run by a DJ, blah blah blah. The only difference is the wedding is in a really cool cave.
Gimme a damn break.

There's way too much to report back except that the continued amount of stress I've been under has cost me 10 lbs. in weight and possibly a good part of my sanity. And if you've seen me, losing weight is a really bad thing.

More to come....
