St. Valentine's Day Massacre... Not to sound all down about the holiday, because I laid low and tried to duck and cover, but there was plenty of madness to go round during this season's massacre. I'm trying to count and I believe it's six ladies I know that all were dumped within a week of Valentine's Day.
Not to mention the fact that someone I was acquainted with died the Monday before in the huge wreck on I-35. The funeral was Friday, and although funeral's aren't exactly known for their uplifting and inspirational themes (at least not to me), this one wasn't quite so bad. There were tears, of course, but I found it interesting when the funeral service provider passed around a microphone to the members of the audience wherein they would tell stories of how they met Milton or how he affected their lives. So, you knew that he had lived a good one.
I'm never very good at the funeral thing. I never know what to say because somehow, it just doesn't seem like there's anything that hasn't been told to them a hundred times before.

That sucked.

Anyway, Valentine's Day, Kris and I laid low, catched a movie and had fun. And managed to help out an 80+ year old couple as well. Hey, it made me feel good.

We'll take note of the posting time and how long it's going to take...

More to come.
