*****LIVING IN THE MONEY PIT!!!*******
Has anyone ever seen the money pit starring Tom Hanks? They just keep rebuilding on this house, and the more they work on it, the worse it becomes... Well, I'm living in that right now.
The original plan was that the house would be on the market two weeks ago. Not happened yet. We were going to replace the carpet downstairs with a neutral color ceramic tile, replace the carpets upstairs, and paint the inside and the outside. Well, it's taken two weeks, but the painting of the inside is finally done! Now about the carpet.
Thursday, I wake up and walk out of my room to see the whole construction crew sitting around my parents room eating microwave dinners and drinking cokes, while watching Judge Judy or some crap. When I asked exactly what was going on, they replied "Man... it's our lunch break..."
For two hours.
Then they tell me I better put some shoes on because the carpet downstairs has been ripped up, I glance over the balcony to see what's underneath my carpet. Cold concrete. All downstairs. With little sharp shards of tile waiting to impale themselves in my gargoylish feet.
As I proceed to smoke a cigarette and head back upstairs to take a shower, what to my wondering eyes do appear? My bathtub...filled with old dirt, tile, and carpet. I hear one of the construction crew guys request for milk and crackers. I shake my head and go to work.
Well, it's been several days since, and the house is finally beginning to make some progress, the entire downstairs is almost completed. Unfortunately, the entire upstairs is wood and I've been spending two hours before I go to sleep picking splinters out of my feet.
IN OTHER NEWS... Uhm... wow... there's a story here waiting to come out... I just have to make sure that it's the right time to tell it before I actually do. It's a good one though!
THANKSGIVING UPDATE: WOW. I'm actually going out to my dad's for Thanksgiving and spend a holiday with that side of the family! I can't remember the last time that happened! So, for the morning I will be out of town... Ya'll let me know what's going on for the evening.
More to come.....

******DANCING TO AN IRISH GIG!!*****
Been dancing all night to Irish Gig's! It's been a very..... interesting couple of weeks. Let's take for instance that the married woman, Cynthia, has suddenly disappeared. Hey, no big surprise, especially after what happened. I don't exactly blame her. I just don't know if I ever want to see her again.
Oh, my bad. Let me see if I can explain the last few girls that I've dated, and what exactly went wrong with them. Elizabeth, well, she was selling drugs out of her apartment. And then there was Maureen.... Not a bad thing at all.... Just kind of hard to compete with a school schedule. And 50 miles.
Oh well.
Let's see.... What else. Okay, so after I took a dive for the married chick, Cynthia, she stopped talking to me altogether. It kind of hurt to begin with... but I met some people that made it a little better. Although I still miss her, I'm not going to hang outside her apartment waiting for her to make a slip up in her mistake as I originally planned.
I also saw Carrie again, and even though we still have yet to hang out again, it was still nice to see her. And I wish her good luck.
It's official. My family and I are leaving in less then a month. I want to see if I can get everyone together for at least an hour and say goodbye to everyone at once. I know it's a fat chance... but, hey, if FEEL MY WRATH FOURTH OF JULY HOLIDAY IN THE PARK worked... I figured anything could.
Okay, all, I'm going to sleep in 32 degree weather in a tent that I put up by myself.
Wish me luck...
.... More to come....
